If you are tired of ebay's obscure and ambiguous policies and high prices, then I highly recommend checking out Auctiva Commerce. The fees are low and this encourages sellers. They have introductory prices and if you join now you will receive a locked in monthly fee rate for your store.
If you are NOT interested in selling anything, then perhaps you are interested in buying from sellers that are willing to try a new system....one that isn't affiliated with ebay. Each individual that becomes a seller through Auctiva Commerce will have their own stores with unique urls, interfaces, and items.
